This is how our good friend Johnny Knoxville explains us:
The Dudesons are four Finnish f***tards who have come to the US of A to pursue the American dream. Of course, their idea of pursuing the American dream is to do even more stupid crap here than they did back home. Best friends since childhood, The Dudesons have spent their lives performing and documenting on film ingeniously idiotic stunts and pranks. This series will follow these four nimrods as they try to ASS-immilate into our culture by doing the dumbest things imaginable. Can The Dudesons get along with their American neighbors or will their non-stop f-ing around only make the culture clash worse?
Lucky for The Dudesons, they are as lovable as they are nuts, and they are counting on that charm to win over local townsfolk and whatever authorities they’ll most assuredly encounter. Watch as the boys try to reach Mars with their own self-built space rocket. Come giggle as the boys try to become cowboys by milking a bull. As an over-optimistic stunt man myself, I think The Dudesons are going to take American by storm. They’re hilarious, they got balls, and their hearts are bigger than their brains.

THE DUDESONS IN AMERICA SYNOPSIS
01 – FOLLOW THE LEADER
The Dudesons leave the arctic Finland behind and arrive in the USA to live THE AMERICAN DREAM – And they end up in the rural American heartland with a farmhouse as their new home! But the Farmhouse only has two bedrooms and they decided to play a game of “Follow the Leader” to decide who gets the master bedroom. After the game there will be only one winner, and the three losers will be marked with hot branding irons – each will get branded with “USA” on their butt cheeks! And the branding will be done by a local farmer in the middle of the town square full of people.
02 – COWBOYS & FINDIANS
The Dudesons decide they want to become honorary members of a Native American tribe. The Dudesons learn the character traits a tribal member must possess (I.E. Bravery, Strength, Endurance). To prove that they are worthy, the Dudesons create a series of stunts as their own version of a rite of passage. In the end a final rite of passage will be attempted in hopes of attaining honorary tribal membership and the coveted “Golden Feather” strapped to their head.
03 – SPACED
The Dudesons dream of exploring space and want to become astronauts. The Dudesons create their own space-training program and build a rocket ship designed to take them to Uranus!
04 – AMERICAN FRONTIERSMEN
The Dudesons head out into the snowy mountains of America’s West to see if they can survive in the harsh winter conditions that pioneers in the 1800’s would have faced out on the wagon trail. Along for the ride will be a local grizzly man in the Daniel Boone spirit who will watch and give advice to the Dudesons as they attempt to make it through a series of stunts designed to test their ability to beat the elements. From demonstrating how to remove a frozen tongue stuck to a flagpole to a final stunt that will test their ability to jump across a mountain pass that will lead them back to civilization – in the end we’ll see if the if the boys from Finland are worthy of receiving beaver hats that would make even Davy Crockett envious.
05 – ABUSEMENT PARK
For a diversion from their normally chaotic lifestyle, the Dudesons visit a local carnival to enjoy some rides and games. Upon arrival the Dudesons meet the GM of the park and take a tour of the park. After meeting the GM the Dudesons invent several new, hilarious and dangerous rides to try to impress the GM enough to let them add a ride to his park. While building and testing these rides they decide to build the ultimate Dudeson ride that they hope will pass the GM’s approval for his park. They build the ride and then show the GM. The GM says no way but they convince him to let them test it to prove its viability. In front of a crowd of onlookers they test the stunt ultimately proving it safe but not changing the GMs mind to let them add it to his park.
06 – KINGS OF THE MOUNTAIN
Being from the arctic cold of Finland, The Dudesons are no strangers to freezing conditions and pride themselves on kicking ass in winter sports. But there can only be one “King of the Mountain”, so they have devised a series of stunts to test who among them is worthy of attempting a huge final stunt: jumping a car from a snow kicker and doing a 360 spin! The locals and a surprise mystery guest will watch as the Dudesons go big in big mountain country.
07 – ROBOT MAN VS. ALIENS
From watching too much American television and movies, the Dudesons are convinced that an alien attack against the World is imminent. To protect the human race from such an event, the Dudesons get to work creating the ultimate weapon: a powerful Robot Man! In their lab (a barn with childlike schematics of how the robot will look and function) the Dudesons build and test the robot man’s body armor, surprise fists, flamethrowers and a jet pack to thwart the alien foes. Once completed, Robot Man patrols downtown Roswell in his custom-built battlewagon culminating in showdown with an invading alien army!
08 – ARMED FORCES
The Dudesons know something that most Americans do not – their so-called friendly neighbor to the North, Canada, intends to invade American soil! In order to save America, the Dudesons train for battle through a series of physical tests and exercises, preparing them to become our first line of defense against the dreaded maple leaf. They will have rubber bands snapped in their face, they will be faster as attack animals chase them, and they will test their strength as they swing down on a rope to collide with a wall. Once trained, the Dudesons dig in on the front line, building and testing custom weapons and vehicles designed to thwart Canadian aggression such as an air-pressured cannon which shoots a huge amount of sharp, spiky bullets, attack Segways tested on an obstacle course and a battering ram using their heads as the ram. Finally, the Dudesons take the Canadian castle in their battle tank blowing up the Canadian headquarters.
09 – ACTION MOVIES / JACKASS 3D
The Dudesons love Hollywood Action films so much they decide to reenact some of Hollywood’s biggest on screen stunts. Whether its flipping a car like their favorite Bond movie or running from a gigantic boulder like Indiana Jones, the Dudesons revel in the opportunity to live life like their on-screen heroes. Finally, the Dudesons get to live out their movie dreams in real life as they visit the set of Jackass 3 for an enormous cinematic spectacle!
10 – AMERICAN JOCK
America is a country obsessed with sports, and the Dudesons want to try and understand what it’s all about by immersing themselves in all things sport. After splitting up into teams, the Dudesons will compete in a series of escalating stunts including everything from racing one another in a gator filled pool, fighting one another indoors with high pressure fire hoses, and competing to see how many times they can flip a car. Finally, in front of a crowd of cheering locals – the winning team will get the chance to attempt the first-ever front car flip!
11 – DUDES MOBILE
The Dudesons, like Americans love their cars. So they decide to build one and race it against their new American friends. The Dudesons will embrace the whole car culture and attempt to create cars that can eject passengers, drive on two wheels and even repel thieves with a unique angry animal security system. By the end, the Dudesons will compete in front of a crowd of mayhem-thirsty locals against seasoned drivers and attempt to win the ultimate full contact race. Will their Scar Car have what it takes to win America’s toughest race and take home the trophy?
12 – AMERICAN HISTORY
The Dudesons have fallen in love with America (and coincidentally their visas are running out), so they have decided to try and become real American Citizens. They have found a female history mentor who has agreed to test them on their knowledge of American history so that they will be ready to take the final citizenship exam. The Dudesons will reenact everything from Paul Revere’s famous ride to the Wright Brothers first flight as they painfully experience some of the most famous events in American history. If they pass the final test, may God help the USA!
